With the rapid increase of plastic products, plastic pollution has become one of the biggest environmental issues. The pollution is most visible in countries, where the plastic collection system is unfortunately poor. Singapore's coast has been filled with plastic that could have come from the country itself and surrounding countries like Malaysia, Indonesia and more...

To save our ocean from the devastating amount of plastic which drifts ashore on many of our beaches, we must act immediately.

THE WAVES was found on October​​ 2nd of 2021 by  three students.  The 3 of the students managed the group from ZERO to the level THE WAVES are at this point. From the start to today, THE WAVES has done two big things!
( ZERO plastic event and Joining the SILA-Singapore institute of landscape and architects- clean up event ) and the coming event  #The waves | sila
